How To Run Your Own Skydiving Business
You’ve just returned from a skydiving trip and had the time of your life. You can’t get enough of the exhilaration that came from letting go and plunging into the air thousands of feet above the ground. You’ve also long been contemplating taking the plunge (no pun intended) by starting your own business. Why not marry the two ideas and get in to the business of skydiving? Here are some tips that can help you with your skydiving business.
Get the planes
The first thing you will need to do is to get the planes to run the business. Start by looking for an ideal skydive aircraft for sale which you can find at an attractive price. If you can find a package deal which sells multiple airplanes, then you might be able to save a bit of money doing so as you will be needing more than one plane anyway. You could go for used planes as well, but this would mean that you will have to make sure that it is in complete working condition as it could pose a health risk to your clients if not.
Set the rates
After you have the planes, you will need to decide on how much you will want to charge for your services. Try to get an idea of how much to charge by comparing with the other, well reputed sky diving businesses in your area. You would want to try to offer a cheaper rate, or package deals so that the customers would want to choose yours over the others. You will also need to consider how much you will be wanting to pay your employees before you can decide on how much of a profit you will want to make.
Get the crew
You can’t have a skydiving business without having the right crew to run it. You should start by putting up job advertisements which can help you with recruiting the crew that you will need. Depending on the plane that you get, such as the viking for sale, you will need to decide how many at a time you will be able to accommodate. Since you are starting, having a few personnel would be good as you can’t expect to get a lot of clients straight away. Make sure that the crew you recruit is well trained in handling these.
These tips will help you run effective skydiving businesses. Remember it will take some time to cover up your initial capital expenditure, so you will need to have a bit of patience.
